Stop Monthly Payments: If you do not want to pay the monthly membership fee, but still occasionally want to reserve a Colorado CarShare vehicle – for example, when you need a pick-up truck or an AWD vehicle, you can switch to the Peace of Mind plan, which doesn't require a monthly payment. This means that you won't be charged until the next time you rent one of our vehicles, unless you're enrolled in the Damage Fee Waiver (DFW) program.
Please keep in mind, we consider this a rate plan change, which is only allowed once a year. So you won't be able to change your rate plan again until next year at this time.
Close Your Account: If you’re sure you want to close your account completely, select this option and submit your response. After a few business days, you will receive an email confirmation and instructions for returning your key fob.
Please be aware: You won't be able to use the service again without re-applying for membership (and paying the app fee). Your account will be fully closed on the first day of the following month. You are still responsible for any outstanding account balance, including the current month's monthly membership fee.
