Application
Complete the online application here. You must have at least 2 years of licensed driving experience to apply.
Our application process involves a Motor Vehicle Report and SSN Verification.
This information is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of our carsharing community.
Registration fee is non-refundable.
Approval
It takes approximately 3-5 business days to approve membership, including processing your motor vehicle record. Your driving record must be good (with no suspensions) to be approved. For more information regarding our process please visit our FAQs page.
Registration fee is non-refundable regardless of MVR results.
Fob
After your application is approved, we’ll mail your card key/fob. Delivery may take 3–5 days. Please wait to reserve a vehicle until you receive it. Once it arrives, make a free 15-minute test booking before scheduling a full trip.

Get Started
1. Reserve a Vehicle
- Online at reservations.carshare.org or
- Download the App: Get it from the App Store or Play Store
- Vehicle bookings can be made immediately, or up to a year in advance.
2. When You Get to the Car
- Walk around to make sure all is well.
- Use your key fob to unlock the door.
- Hold the fob against the fob reader on the driver’s side windshield for up to 5 seconds.
3. Drive
- Every time you enter or exit the car, use your key fob (NOT the interior door locks) to unlock and lock the doors.
- For vehicles with a push button start, depress the brake pedal when you push the start button. All other vehicles have the ignition key tethered to the steering column.
- Use the app or website to extend your booking before the last 15 min of your booking. You may need to create another booking right afterwards.
4. At the End of Your Trip
- Return the car to its designated parking space. If the space is occupied, find the next public LEGAL spot and make booking note or email us.
- Use your key fob to lock the doors and end your reservation.
