Sofia Corley was born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. Spending most of her childhood days in the wooded creek behind her house, her love of nature and her motivation to protect it quickly became the biggest part of who she is today. She graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder with an Environmental Studies degree and an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology minor. At CU, she wrote a senior Honors Thesis on the success of various conservation methods of endangered species programs. Throughout college and post-graduation, she gained experience in various environmental nonprofit, administrative, and customer service roles. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and doing anything outside, especially hiking, skiing, and running.
