Hey look, it snowed!
With the Winter Solstice approaching and a few snow falls already under our belt, we can't deny that winter weather is here for the next few months. So to get you prepared for this season of snow, slush and ice, we have put together a few tips!
**Go Slow in the Snow!
Please give yourself adequate time to drive slowly in snowy, icy conditions and allow increased stopping distance between you and other vehicles. Avoid reserving our trucks (V#105 & V#203) if the forecast calls for snow as they are 2-wheel drive and can slip around. If there's more than 1-2" of snow on the roads we may contact members who have reservation for the trucks to make alternative arrangements.
**Snowy Vehicles!
If it's snowing, please giver yourself an extra 15 minutes of the front-end of your reservation to adequately clear off the snow and defrost the car. You may get lucky and the car is already cleared off and warm, but don't count on that!
**Snow Tires!
Whenever possible please use our snow tire equipped and AWD vehicles for your snowy, mountain excursions. Thanks to our partners at Rocky Mounts one vehicle in both Denver & Boulder will be outfitted with ski racks. Don't worry we'll keep you updated on which location these two vehicles will call home.
**Weather Related Cancellation Policy!
If the weather does not look friendly before your reservation, or is taking a turn for the worse during your reservation, please call us (before or during your reservation) and we will void some (or all) of your reservation at no charge to you. If we do NOT hear from you before your reservation is scheduled to begin (or if you are returning early), you will incur at least a partial charge.
